yay. i'm looking forward to shopping and more shopping :) while the singaporeans here can trot around orchard road during great singapore sale.
it was people mountain people sea (chinese: ren shan ren hai) there. all with shopping bags. scary~
i hope my lugguage don't burst or something, hee.

i've snapped out of my 'lonely' mood now that i've taken a gulp of fresh air.
i'm pretty amazed with myself for being able to climb out of bed at 9am despite my worsening nocturnal habits. but now i'm back here after falling asleep at 11pm and rousing at 2am. hecks i guess i still can't sleep early.

i think staying at home for prolonged hours can drive one nuts.
basically doing the same thing everyday. unable to do what i want - no PS to play - drives me nuts.
ok i'm whining like a brat here. can't help it.
probably you guys can help this oba-san here greatly by dishing out invites to her so she can quit whining about being cooped up at home like a fugitive.
i can't imagine how i can tolerate after retirement. but come to think of it, by then (hopefully) i'll have enough money to do what i wish to.

and what's keeping me alive at home are my daily doses of anime and manga goodness.
here, i have to recommend this grrrreat anime Fantastic Children.

i know the character designs don't seem to look very appealing, in fact i was rather turned off at first sight. BUT the plot will blow you away... trust me on this. and enjoy the wonderful ED song while you're at it.

i'm sad.
sad that there's no one with the same interests as me.
sad that when i'm overwhelmed with whatever emotion about a particular thing, there's no one i can mutually share it with.
it makes me feel rather lonely.

well i'm glad then that i'll be jetting off to china this weekend.
away from the mundane life; away from being yakked at daily about being lazy/good-for-nothing; away from this lonely feeling.
if only for a while.

fucking arsenal.
they totally don't deserve the fa cup trophy, though i must say that united missed their chances, too many.
it was a good game to catch after missing so many months of it. and i love watching with janey. we scream and yell the same things together :)
but it was vexing to see your side dominate the entire match to lose on penalties. that had to be the suck-iest thing to happen to a team.

well football's unpredictable. the stronger team may not neccessarily win.
i will remember that.
hoping that united will fare better next season. (more silverwares pls!)

definitely my favourite actor. his choice of roles are weird - edward scissorhands, pirate captain jack sparrow and willy wonka - mirroring the man himself. i love how he keeps his private life low-key, that he only flaunts his incredible talent onscreen. and another plus that his dark brooding looks add to the intrigue factor.


trivia: IMO, johnny is the reason PoTC didn't sink.

sizzling~ this mexican lad's won me over with his dancing moves. and it definitely helps that he has those puppy dog eyes and cuteness that makes me wanna huggle him more. i wouldn't mind a dancing man in my house, even though i may lose too much blood due to excessive nosebleeds.

you have to agree with me that naohito-kun is cute. i think even guys have to admit so. he's like the epitome of cuteness. given that he's rather old already (30+), he oozes so much manly charisma that girls just can't defend against. i can see him 100 times over and still thinks he's the cutest.

this man is the most popular male in japan. and also my favourite japanese actor. i didn't like him all that much in the past but i've grown to love him and his doramas after all these years. there's reason why his doramas are always top in the national average ratings. watch and you'll understand.

trivia: i've got too many doramas to recommend. but definitely long vacation is my reigning most favourite.

falling prey to the addiction of naruto made me love this particular laid-back ninja. ok many people asked me why i fancy someone whose face is being masked, well i attribute it all to the mystery factor. though his name is not cool (kakashi literally translates to scarecrow) but his personality is so cool he has tons of fanboys and fangirls alike.

i used to dislike him at first look and despise his inflexible thinking. but after the manga unveiled some of his inner emotions, i love him so much. probably i just love guys with a touch of sadness and mystery, someone who needs time to peel his outer shell away. this man is more than meets the eye, not just a law bidding cold hearted noble.

hee i seem to be the only one remaining who haven't updated after the exams.

anyway i kinda forgotten most of what happened so will only recount the more prominent ones (i even had to look through my organiser)

so after the fateful day, 3 May 1100 hrs, the free bird proceeded happily to orchard cineleisure for a much long-awaited ktv session with jun/janie/peiwen.
and i found out that m&m's had the limited edition dark chocolate edition in conjunction with star wars (ok i was a hermit during the exam period), which is like my dream come true being the dark choc lover i'm.
i wanna take a pic of the pack because the design is so cute. the m&m candy dressed up as darth maul. i just can't seem to find it.

intended to go zouk mambo night but backed out last minute. so 208 comprising chin/jun/szeman/homo/leeloo/me had a little chill out session at C.A.N cafe. got leeloo to spill out some of her secrets albeit forcefully hehe. i love chilling out with 208, makes me miss the KC days even more.

we made plans to swim and cycle on friday. had to wake at 9am which is very early ever since i lapsed into my nocturnal habits after the exams. stupid chin was so late she swam for less than 30 minutes before it started raining. and what's worse she came dressing up like a rich tai-tai about to board a yacht. we look like garang gunis next to her.
went to eat at the japanese restaurant at east coast where leeloo used to work at. and received the then good news that we should be able to get a waitressing job but till now still no news. haven't seen leeloo's little sister for so long and it's surprising how fast little kids grow up. i'm sure our generation will be dwarfs compared to the next one. for goodness sake, my 14 yr old cousin has already outgrown me. i feel so inferior next to her and it doesn't help she uses that to mock at me. bah.
so after the rain subsided we went cycling! i love cycling if not for my problematic tailbone. that problem's plaguing me for almost 5 years already. i can't do sit-ups and i get an aching back if i sit too long. sighs.

was initially hesitant to go for A Night of Romantic Symphony organised by NUSSU Bizcom on 7 May. mainly because of money and some personal issues. but i'm glad i did go. enjoyed the music because the Yoshida Tadashi Memorial Orchestra's choice of music like Moon River and also a snippet from Howl's Moving Castle were easy on the ears. i sneakily recorded every musical piece on my handy mobile. we were sitting so close to the stage i could even feel the vibrations when the conductor jerked too forcefully. i now regret even more of my stubborness in the past when i refused my mother's suggestion for me to learn piano.

so after the foiled attempt the previous week, we made our way successfully to zouk with the same old bunch of people. teehee fulfiled my wish of downing alcohol. the place was so crowded i kept getting my toes stepped on. left at 2am which was a wise choice because it started raining heavily when we were comfortably slurping our bah kut teh soups.
chin and szeman stayed the night because the next day we were supposed to wake at 730am so that we can dash into Isetan Scotts at 9am when the private sale begins. really kiasu behaviour i tell you. they actually checked out the store the previous night and were planning to hide their stash. and i cannot believe that at 9am in the morning the store was already somewhat filled, with those kiasu aunties who even made a half-run to the entrance of the store saying in chinese, "Hurry, we must go grab." *faints*
did buy a plain black cardigan and adidas shorts. the rest were grabbing bras. gotta tell you the scene where you scale up the escalator and peer at the numerous aunties furiously grabbing panties out of a cart was classic. too bad i didn't bring my camera.

echoing what chin said, i'd agree that i would chuck the idea of having a boyfriend out off my mind. it seems to be more harzardous rather than making you happy. well not that i already have a target or what, but i can just keep myself contented at drooling over my delicious jielun and the many manga and anime bishounens.

yucks my entry's so incoherent. sorry please bear with me. had to cram 2 weeks' worth of info into a single entry. but well i have inspiration for my next entry already. i will be back soon.

i am

met up with alex and serene on friday.
to return him his PS which i hogged for almost a freaking year.
and him to pass me FFVII.
(hee i forsee myself in gaming mode after i get hold of a PS and controllers)
and serene couldn't pass up any chance to get alex out on a dinner date, with me as a lightbulb unfortunately.
we found out about this really great place to chill out at marina square.

which chin and me proceeded to the next day.
i think marina square's revamp is turning out to be a good thing.
another good place to hang out or shop in town.
anyway Central Square's open concept is very appealing.
basically you get to lounge in the center, with 5 restaurants around you.
so you get to order food from all restaurants plus enjoy the live music.
ooh*er. i get such a joy from great music i was distracted for so many times. (ask chin how many times i ignored her or answered her wrongly)
oh and we encountered this cutie that chin got so infatuated over.
too bad we didn't get to snap him.
